unearthed

digging my hands deeper into the dark soil

looking for rocks to throw to the side

and pulling seeds from my pockets to plant

i've had these seeds in my pocket for a long time

they hold the most radiant flowers and

more than anything i want them to blossom

i'm just a bit scared to throw them to the elements

its time though

they are no good to me and i am no good to them if i'm

holding back from the world whatever beauty i have to offer....

Beautiful image. Beautiful words. I think I'll print them out and tack them to my wall today. Inspiring me to get the seeds out of my pocket too.
