she's so lovely

she's so lovely.
it was such a treat to hang out with my mom in portland. when we weren't helping out the new parents, we'd easily jump into some daily adventure or another. on the third day we headed out to mount tabor for a stroll, which quickly turned into a photo-shoot.
a few weeks before she had taken a course at the art college on making felted fingerless gloves and as you may be able to see from the photos, they are really beautiful. not only is she a felter, full of innovative ideas under her sleeve, but she's also a weaver, painter and poet. we'll definitely be going to one of these art retreat together at some point. i think she'll fit in superbly.
